IFEAT Conference Registration 2016 IMPORTANT NEW PROCESS

We would like to inform you that IFEAT conference registration will be opening soon (April). As you are aware IFEAT have implemented a new website and membership system and we would like to update our members on the change of procedure for 2016 with regards to conference registration. 

This year members will be required to create a record for each delegate who would like to attend the conference from their company within their member portal on the IFEAT website. This is to ensure each delegate receives a membership discount upon purchase. If you do not register each delegate as an associate of your business our payment system will charge those delegates a non-member registration fee rate. This is an important pre conference registration step that our members need to be aware of.

Please find below a detailed step by step guide of how to attach a person associated with your business in your online account. Each Delegate who wishes to attend must complete the following steps:

Step 1) Select Login > Create New Account (ONLY if your email address is not already registered)

Step 2) Enter your details, such as Name, Address and Emails Address and select "Save". The system will now send you your user name and password.

Step 3) Log into your account with your new username and password.

Step 4) Select "Select your membership type".

Step 5) Select "More Info" under one of the membership types (ordinary/associate).

Step 6) There is a section asking "Is your business already a member", select "search for your business here".

Step 7) In the Search Box input your business name and select "request Link to your business".

Step 8) The business administrator of your company will be notified and asked to Approve or Reject your request. 

Step 9) Please advise the business administrator that they should have received an email from IFEAT with a link to approve or reject the request.

INSTRUCTIONS - ONLINE PAYMENT OF YOUR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE

We have noticed that a few of our members have been experiencing some difficulties logging into their accounts and are unaware of our new online payment system.

Below are some detailed instructions to help you access your new account. Please note your old log in details may no longer be recognised and in most instances your password will need to be reset.

1) Simply log into your account at www.ifeat.org

2) Please reset your password using the link below https://www.ifeat.org/user/password or alternatively please go to the "log in" section and click on "Request new password". You should be sent an automtic email from the system advising you of your new password.

PLEASE NOTE: If you receive the following error mesage "Sorry, your email is not recognized as a user name or an e-mail address"  then please contact me on membership@ifeat.org and I will reset your account to enable you to log in. 

Making payments online via your account:

1) Please log in to yor account as directed above and this will take you to your membership portal page

2) Click on "Transactions" on the left had side and here you should see the invoices awaiting payment.

3) Click on "Make Payment" and here you will be asked to enter your credit card details.

4) Once your payment has been processed you will see an on screen reference number, please make a note of this number.

5) Now please go back to your account and the payment status should show "Completed". 

6) You can also now reprint your invoice which wlill now say "Paid" in the top right hand corner of the invoice.

7) If you are unable to make payments via credit card please make payment in GBP to the bank account as stated on the invoice. You can find further banking details on our Frequently Asked Questions Page.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently able to accept American Express Cards. We are working to resolve this. If you try to process an American Express Card it will "Decline". Please use an alternative card or make payment to the account details specified on your invoice.

Why am I not able to view any IFEAT Members in the Members Directory?

At this moment in time we are unfortunately not yet allowed to automatically share members contact information due to UK data protection laws. We are working on asking each member to give their permission for their contact information to be shared as we know this can be an important tool for members. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Why is my 2016 Membership Fee in GBP and not Euros?

It has been decided by the Membership and Executive Committees that for 2016 all Membership Fees will be billed in GBP.

How do I pay my invoice online?

How Do I Become A Member ?

To join please navigate to the Membership page called Join IFEAT - choose your appropriate membership.

  • Complete the web subscriber phase by using a real email address
  • Click the link in your email to confirm your subscription
  • Complete the the questions required of you including providing 2 references from existing members.  You can go to your 'My Portal' to complete this questionnaire online.

Our team will then review your application and if approved give you access to all member material.

How do I create a Support Ticket to get answers from you?

Our website has the ability for logged in users to request an answer from the IFEAT staff. This will allow you to keep a record of answers to your questions for reference.

  • Login with your email address and password (if you do not have a password - click the Request Password link on the login screen).
  • You will now by in your 'My Portal'.
  • Scroll to the bottom of this page and select Support Request (this will show a list of any old open or completed Requests you have made).
  • To create a new Support Ticket - Click on the orange button and enter the details of your question.
  • Our staff will be advised of your request and get back to you through this system.
  • You should login and check for answers in your 'My Portal' section of the website.
  • Once the Support Ticket is complete, our team will mark is as such and it will automatically be moved from Open Support Tickets to Support Ticket History.
